Malkia jewellery was founded in June 2020. It was started to address the need for brass statement jewellery that can be worn as everyday pieces.

Our jewellery pays homage to African history. Each of our pieces are unique and named after a city, ancient King/Queen or public figure in Africa.
All our jewellery comes from recycled material and is guaranteed to stand the test of time.

We have a unique range of handcrafted jewellery encompassing both African and contemporary styles. We have a wide range of rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

Every Malkia piece has a history from the relationship with the artisan, to the life of the wearer.
We design each of our collections with the intention of creating pieces that can be passed down through generations, with minimal waste and minimal carbon footprint. Our jewellery is all made by local artisans based in Kenya and Uganda. We employ ancient handcrafting techniques that celebrate our African culture.
